OUR SPECIALIST HAEMATOLOGISTS

Dr Stephanie Hayes FRACP, FRCP, MMed, MBBS(Hons)

Stephanie is a consultant clinical specialist haematologist (physician) at the Sydney Adventist (SAN) Hospital and Hornsby Kuringai Hospital.

Stephanie completed specialist physician training, and specialist haematology training in Sydney, and took further studies to complete a Masters of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology. In addition, she undertook a further fellowship specialising in clotting disorders before setting up her clinical practice at the SAN Hospital and Hornsby.

She holds a Clinical Senior Lecturer position at the University of Sydney, regularly teaching at various levels including medical students, junior doctors and specialist physician trainees. She is also a regular examiner for the Australasian College of Physicians training scheme.

Stephanie prides herself in her compassionate communication with patients, colleagues, and staff, and in providing the best individualised care for each patient she sees.

Stephanie is also a mother of 3, and enjoys gardening (in the free time she doesn't have!)

Dr Lisa Clarke FRACP, FRCPA, BMedSc, MEpi, MBBS

Lisa is a consultant Haematologist with appointments at Sydney Adventist Hospital and the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. She cares for patients with both malignant and non-malignant Haematological conditions and has special interests in Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Transfusion Medicine and Obstetric Haematology.

Lisa completed her specialist physician and haematology training in Sydney and holds dual fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia. She has completed a Masters of Clinical Epidemiology and has been published in the areas of Iron deficiency, Inherited bleeding disorders and Obstetric patient blood management.

Lisa is a member of the Haematology in Obstetrics and Women’s health Collaborative Steering Committee and is active in medical education of junior doctors. Lisa is a dedicated and empathetic clinician who works collaborative with her peers to deliver high quality personalised care for each of her patients.

Away from work Lisa is a mum of 2 beautiful girls and enjoys ocean swimming (in all seasons).

OUR FRIENDLY STAFF

Stephanie and Lisa are fortunate to be supported by friendly, efficient administrative staff led by their practice manager Kristin. They are helpful, approachable and share the caring nature of our specialist doctors.

The same staff support our doctors in both the Sydney Adventist (SAN Clinic) Rooms, as the Lindfield Specialist Centre Rooms - meaning total continuity of care for patients wherever they are seen. All patient notes are held securely and computerised, for ready access at all sites.
